Need milk for our adopted son Empty Need milk for our adopted son

Post by adoptingmom Thu Jan 29, 2015 12:27 pm

Hi we were overjoyed to adopt our second child recently (he is 4 months and 2 days old!) We are trying to give him breast milk as it is optimal for his health. We have had some wonderful and amazing moms donate on a one time basis extra milk in their freezer, and a few moms who donated repeatedly but now for various reasons are no longer able to. We are super appreciative of this amazing gift. Our son is thriving due to it. If anyone has never donated and is worried about the process, I could put you in touch with some of the moms we know who have so kindly given us milk previously so you can be assured of who we are, or you can contact our adoption attorney.

So... if anyone has frozen breast milk that is not needed and hates to see it go to waste, please get in touch - just PM me as for some reason messages that are posted to the thread do not get sent to me.

We will pick up at your convenience.

Or feel free to text 917 - four nine eight - 4198 (spelling it out to avoid spam calls, thanks!)

We live in NYC and can drive to you and pick up in the NY, NJ, CT area.

Thank you!
