Hi Jeff,
If you are still looking for more milk for your baby, please let me know. I have about 56 bags of about 8 oz each in my deep freezer. I have been taking zantac throughout which is considered safe (it is the 1st line medication for infants with reflux). I am in Brighton. Please message me if you are interested.

Hi Jeff, I was a donor mom thru the mothers milkbank northeast until a few months ago when they joined with NY and required a MMR titer to be drawn and my ins would not cover it. I have donated 3000oz to the milkbank, and have about 300-350 bags of milk left in my deep freezer. I am quite healthy and still nursing my 15 month old, but she will not drink from a cup the unthawed milk, picky little thing! If you are interested in it please let me know. I am in Brockton. I do not have computer access except at work on tue and thur, so if you are interested please call or text me. Karen 774 240 1082

Hi Jeff.
I'm not sure if this would help or not but I will have some extra milk for the next few weeks.

I nursed our daughter up until about 9 months ago and have been fortunate enough to relactate before the birth of our twins (due mid Oct - my wife is pregnant). My wife will nurse exclusively for the first four weeks to get her supply going so until I can help her out I will be pumping and and not sure what to do with the milk. I don't have a heck of a lot right now (2 or so oz a day) but will be getting a hospital grade pump today and have had excellent supply in the past.

About me: I'm on metformin and domperidone, both of which are totally fine when BF according to LLL. Both are actually commonly used for the purpose of building milk supply. I have a primarily vegetarian diet, take a daily multivitamin and have one cup of coffee a day. I'm happy to get screened, bloodtested, etc. Let me know if you think I can be of any help. Thanks! Cynara

seeking milk for adopted daughter

Post by jeffgoldenson on Sun Aug 31, 2014 6:56 pm

We are adoptive parents of a beautiful 10 month old girl and have been incredibly fortunate to feed her donated breast milk since birth. She had a bit of a rough beginning in the NICU, but is incredibly healthy now. We would like to make it to her 12 month birthday on breast milk. Our supply is once again dwindling and we're hoping to find some healthy breast milk that is perhaps lingering in the back of the freezer! We are just thrilled to have made it this far, and understand that many babies might be in more need, nevertheless, we are trying hard to give her the best start to life that we can.

Thank you, amazing donors out there!!
Natalie, Jeff, and baby J
