What part of sc are you in? I'm in the upstate area and may have some extra. I am a healthy mom on no meds and never smokes and have two healthy boys.

Thank you!

Hi Hannah, I really hate to refuse but my husband says it is too far for us to drive at this point. I looked at shipping ideas but looks like it needs to be 300 oz or more. But I'm really glad that there are mothers out there like you who are so generous and appreciate the offer more than you know! Human Milk for Human Babies for South Carolina on Facebook looks like it has some moms in need...

Milk for you

Post by hannah0126 on Mon May 05, 2014 1:54 pm

I have about 100oz of milk I need to donate because I am running out of room in my freezer. I don't need anything in return. I am near Charleston. Let me know if you are interested. I don't smoke or take any medication except for pre natal vitamins and if my supply keeps up the way it has been I will be more than like be able to donate to you more than one time if you wanted.
Just let me know.
Thank you,
     Hannah

Seeking Breastmilk Donation

Post by LSha on Thu May 01, 2014 1:12 am

Hi, I am a mother to a sweet 9 week old son. We have had multiple issues with breastfeeding and now formula. My son had a severe lip tie and tongue tie that remained undiagnosed for weeks. The 4th lactation consultant that I saw actually caught it. We had other issues including an induction due to preeclampsia and his hospitalization for jaundice. I was also re hospitalized for increased blood pressure, and the two of us were separated for a day which also contributed to breastfeeding issues. He had colic and pretty much needed to be held 24/7 for any relief. I tried to pump but was unable to pump the full 10-12 times per day due to holding him and having him literally kick off the shields. We received a generous donation of breast milk; the results were amazing. Now we have been out for approximately a week, and we are back to a crying and screaming unhappy baby. I'm working with my pediatrician to try to remedy this but no positive results yet. Any donation would be greatly appreciated. I am more than happy to replace bags. I know this is a donation site but also I'm happy to trade diapers etc as a small token of appreciation for your hard work!
