Milk to Donate Empty Milk to Donate

Post by crcham Sat Aug 10, 2013 7:47 pm

I'm currently nursing my third child who is turning 14mo. I still pump once a day M-Th while at work to maintain my supply and he's at daycare. I average around 4oz/day so around 16-20oz per week. I've been doing this for around 2 months now and have built up a bank of milk in my deep freezer. I want it to go to someone who can use it.

I wanted to donate to the hospitals but frankly, you have to jump through so many hoops that I just don't have time for. Besides working full time, I volunteer with Girls Scouts and my church. I live in Metro-West and I don't have time to run into Boston to do all the things that they want through the hospitals.

So, I'm hoping that I can find someone in the area that I can give the milk to because I would HATE for it to go to waste. Hopefully I can find a mom who can really use it.

Thanks
Christine
