I tried to email you but it isn't in my sent box, so I am assuming it didn't go through. Let me know if you still need; I am just south of Frederickdburg.

Have plenty of milk

Post by alfusham on Fri Apr 12, 2013 7:22 pm

Hey Heather,

I emailed you to your email but not sure if you got it. I have plenty of frozen milk (less than 6 months old) that I pumped for my baby. I produce too much milk....just don't want the frozen milk go to waste. We live in Round Hill, VA 20141....20 mins away from Leesburg. If you want to come and grab the milk this weekend, you're welcome too. Just let me know. We should be home on Saturday and Sunday (afternoon).

I should add that I wrote this post a couple of days ago and we now have only about a day's worth left. I am unable to edit from my phone so am posting as a comment.

Need Milk in NOVA

Post by Violetrinity on Fri Apr 12, 2013 12:11 pm

Hi, my name is Heather Banks and I have two wonderful, intelligent kids. Alex is 28 months old and Violet is 14 months. It is Violet for whom I am seeking this milk (though Alex still loves it!). I have IGT and, though I am still pumping (and nursing, when Violet wants to- which, unfortunately, is not often these days), I make only about 10-12 oz./day. I tried everything and went through the heartbreak of not being able to have a normal nursing relationship. It was crushing. But, with the help of some amazing, incredible donors whose generosity we will never forget, Violet has gotten to 14 months without drinking anything but breastmilk. What an incredible blessing! She has never had formula and never will. I would not touch it with a ten-foot pole! Violet is an extreeeemely picky eater and still receives most of her nutrition from breastmilk, drinking about 25-30 oz./day on average. She loves her breastmilk! However, our last and most regular donor has now pumped her last and we are just about out. She has never had anything besides breastmilk and I am kind of panicking as we have only a couple of days left and no prospects in sight.
If you can possibly help us out, we would appreciate it so incredibly much. Of course I will reimburse you for your supplies, and your time.
Thank you so much for what you are doing! It has given me faith in humanity and your generosity is beautiful.
Take care!
