Kate,
Are you still donating? I have had some medical problems trying to breast feed and I am now unable to keep up with my son. He is consuming about 75% of his diet with formula. If you are still willing, I would be very happy to accept. Thanks for your consideration!

Mom of 2 Preemies Burlington VT, Breastmilk to Donate Empty Mom of 2 Preemies Burlington VT, Breastmilk to Donate

Hello all!

I am a mother of 2 preemie boys. My first son, Carter, was born 4 1/2 years ago on June 26, 2008 (due September 24, 2008) at 27 weeks weighing 2lbs 4 ounces. After 71 days in the NICU he came home. He is now a very healthy happy loving little boy. I recently gave birth to another preemie on August 25, 2012, Bentley, at 34 weeks weighing 5lbs 1.5 ounces (6 weeks early - due October 6, 2012). He is doing remarkably well and only spent 12 days in the NICU. He now weighs 14lbs. (I only have half of a uterus (unicornuate uterus) which is why my babies came early, not because I was unhealthy). I am 32 years old, never smoked, never used drugs, do not drink. I am very healthy and have been blessed with both children to have an over-abundant milk supply. All the extra milk I have has been stored in our deep freezer since September. As many moms knowing, breastmilk is liquid gold and is too precious to throw away. I would LOVE nothing more than to donate to someone in need and not throw all my hard work pumping out the window! I live in the Burlington area (Williston).

Contact me with questions! Or if you want to see a family picture of our 2 preemies!

~Kate
