Looking for milk in No. Shore and surrounding areas Empty Tons of Milk

Post by PinkFlipFlops Tue Mar 23, 2010 1:47 pm

Hi there,

I'm a newbie on the site, so forgive me if I sound repetitive or provide little information, but honestly I'm not sure what to write. I am a mom to a healthy 6 1/2 month old boy and I have A LOT of frozen BM that I need to get rid of because I have run out of storage room. I am looking to donate to someone in need. If not, I'll probably be donating to a milk bank, as I'd hate for it to go to waste (my white gold!!). I am located on the South Shore. I would prefer pick ups, but am willing to consider shipment. Please email me directly @ mkluziak@hotamil.com if you're interested and we can go over the other info/details.

Looking for milk in No. Shore and surrounding areas Empty milk donation

Post by cmr811 Mon Mar 22, 2010 11:59 am

Hi there -

I am in central MA and would be willing to donate some breast milk if you are still looking for some? I have a lot frozen and still pump extra everyday. My son is 7 mos and hope to continue to nurse until he is 1 or so. I am healthy and do not take any medications besides my daily prenatal. Let me know if you would be interested? The oldest milk is from November and I would like to donate it since it is getting close to the 6 month mark.

You can always email me directly at christinaandjamie@hotmail.com

Hope to hear from you soon.

Christina

Hi Tami,

I was originally thinking of donating locally (I live in Quincy) but I just read your post and you sound so appreciative that I wanted to write back to you. I know you mentioned the North Shore but I thought I'd write anyway. I've got a small stash so far (60 oz) of milk and am planning on pumping once a day M-F at work to keep my milk up for awhile. My 3 month old has decided he will not drink breastmilk from a bottle, only formula, so I nurse him when I'm with him and my husband gives him formula during the day. I was sad he won't take it but I don't want to throw it away. I'd love to see another little baby drink it. Please contact me if you're interested and I'd like to hear your story if you'd like to share it with me. Very Happy

I have a 7 month old son, Luke. We've been extremely fortunate so far with milk donations but our stash is getting quite low. Would be immensely grateful for donations!

We live in Beverly. I prefer to pick up, not ship. I will drive to pick it up from you so you don't have to go to any extra trouble - you've already done enough!!

I'm happy to share my story with you if you'd like to know more about why I am unable to produce my own milk, but figured I wouldn't take up the time and space here.

Thank you so much for considering us!!

Tami
