Hello Lindsay!

Do you still have this breast milk? I am a mom in West Seattle. My husband and I will soon be adopting a baby girl who is due in mid-November. Her birthmom is a heroine addict, so she will likely be premature and will spend several weeks in ICU going through withdrawal before she can be brought home. She is going to be so medically fragile and needs a good start in life after such a rough time in utero, so we are looking for breast milk donations.

I know first hand the positive benefits of breast milk - I breastfed my now 5-year-old son until he was 2 years old. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to make breast milk donations because of my high lipase levels, but I would have if I could have! Smile

Thank you so very much!

100+ ounces frozen breastmilk

Post by LindsayW on Sat Sep 29, 2012 7:49 pm

My son is almost 4 months old and thriving. I pumped and froze daily while on maternity leave, thinking I would need it for childcare, but I have been able to pump more than enough to keep up with his current needs, so I'm looking to donate the freezer stash while it's still good. He was around 1-2 mo old when it was pumped. I live in West Seattle, and I would love to find a local family to help.
I am healthy, never smoke or drink, and I avoid caffeine.
