Hi Holly,

I live in Charlotte (Pineville) and would LOVE to get some of your breastmilk for my 2 month old daughter. My milk just isn't coming in well enough.

I sell Natural Products to health food stores (as a broker). I own the Green Goddess Group. www.greengoddessgrp.com. I'd love to give you something you could use if you'd like in trade.

Thanks for posting and helping us girls with low-breastmilk production!

I have a lot of milk to give!!! Empty milk needed

Post by alyssal615 Fri Feb 05, 2010 7:15 pm

Hey Holly, we are in Spartanburg and just had a baby Tuesday. We would love to get some milk and arrange for long term pick up if you agree. I am unable to breastfeed, much to my disappointment. But, I really want my daughter to have breastmilk.

Here's my story as to why I can't if you are interested: I have inverted nipples and have tried everything in the book over the years to try and BF, but it doesn't happen for me. This is actually our 5th child now! Smile I was able to do a combo of hand expressing/pumping with my first, but even the best pump didn't work w/o me expressing simultaneously. My OB told me about some plastic surgery that can be done to pull the nipple out. I had that done after my first. So, for my 2nd child, I still was not able to breastfeed as the surgeon was not even able to pull enough nipple out for latching on. I was able to pump pretty well though. I pumped 2 freezers full--- but then when I would thaw the milk, found out that my milk when frozen goes bad. SO, all of that work-- I had to throw it all out! I was so sad!! Smile By the time my 3rd and 4th children came along, the scar tissue from the surgery had built up so that my breasts would fill with milk, but I was not able to pump or express any milk out. I was just in pain for 3 wks until it dried up. That's where we are now with this one. My milk came in today. I rented a pump to see if maybe by now, I'd be able to get the pump to work. However, it won't. SO....that's my story! Smile I would love to give my daughter as much breastmilk as I can. And, we'd be happy to drive to meet you somewhere to get it. What a wonderful sacrifice you are doing for moms out there who can't BF! I know how time consuming pumping can be! Smile

If it's still available, we'd love it from you! let me know if you need any more information about us, our family, etc. Thank you. God bless you! Alyssa

I have a lot of milk to give!!! Empty I have a lot of milk to give!!!

I am a first time mom who makes a ton of milk!!! I would love to donate my extra to someone in need of breast milk!! I live in the Charlotte area and am willing to ship (with recipient paying the shipping costs), or if you would like to come pick it up. Right now I have a deep freezer full of frozen milk, I am also willing to continue pumping and freezing to keep donating.

A little history on me is that my son was born 8 weeks premature and weighed 3lbs 4 oz. He spent the first 16 days of his life in a NICU, but he had no health problems other than being premature. I had preeclampsia pretty bad so he had to be taken early. He is now 7 1/2 months old and weighs approximately 18lbs. My son has never been sick a day in his life!!! My husband and I attribute this to his being breastfed. We feel so blessed by the health and wellbeing of our child that we would like to help another child. I don't drink or smoke and mostly eat organic foods.
