Donor milk available in north Louisiana but also willing to ship Empty Donor milk available in north Louisiana but also willing to ship

I'm new to this forum, so I don't know 100% how this works. Embarassed

I'm in West Monroe, LA. I have a 3 month old baby who was born May 18th, 2012. I went back to work at 4 weeks but have been pumping since 1 week. We realized when she was around 6 weeks old that she is a bit sensitive to dairy. I cut my dairy intake waaaaay down (I was eating 5 servings a day), and she has been fine ever since. BUT now I have about 100 oz of milk in my freezer that I'd prefer to donate. She CAN eat this milk without any real digestive issues, but since I have an oversupply, it seems like a better idea just to donate this batch of milk to a baby who wouldn't have any issues with the dairy. She was 3-6 weeks old when it was pumped. I pump 30-35 oz per day. She eats less than 20 oz of milk from bottles per day, so my freezer is almost full.

I contacted several milk banks, and they would not accept my milk because I took Motherlove More Milk (Plus or Special Blend) while BFing, so now I'm sorta stuck with this milk.

Other info... I have one cup of coffee a day. I don't drink. I did take More Milk while pumping, and I also take Ambien (10mg) as needed. I understand some mamas aren't interested because of that. My OB/GYN prescribed it because it is in the same risk category as Benadryl; my piglet has no issues as a result, if that makes a difference. I don't take any OTC meds or other supplements. I can get blood tests, if you are interested. I can also get copies of my blood work from pregnancy, if you'd rather go that route. I'd have to double check that the pregnancy blood work contains the info you want. I didn't look at it closely when it was done beyond being told that it was all negative for diseases. I never in a million years imagined that I'd have oversupply issues and would be trying to donate milk and might need that info, lol!

I'm willing to ship, but I would need instructions on how to do that, of course. My milk has been stored in Medela freezer bags in a deep freezer since June (there may be some from the end of May; not sure... haven't dug it all out to look at the dates). I'm not interested in being reimbursed for the cost of the freezer bags. I bought them 3 months ago and couldn't tell you how much they cost or provide a receipt.

If anyone is interested, please let me know. My freezer is almost full, and my baby is barely breaking into this stash. The milk banks won't take it, and it makes me sick to think that I might have to dump it to make room for fresher milk.
