Searching for milk in Brooklyn, NY or NYC Empty Searching for milk in Brooklyn, NY or NYC

Post by gringota Fri Feb 12, 2010 11:32 am

Hi There-

My name is Marissa, and my son Asher is 3 weeks old. I have a low milk supply due to surgery I had 10 years ago. Not a moment goes by that I don't dream of being able to give my son a full supply of breast milk, so finding donor milk is the next best thing for us. I feed Asher at the breast, and use a lact-aid to give him the donated milk (and some milk I am able to pump for him).

We used milkshare for our first son, and had an incredible experience. We've met some amazing women who have been so generous, and we are very grateful. I am a graduate student and teacher, and my husband is a public school teacher. We are healthy, non-smokers, and generally believe in the power and benefit of breast milk. We are looking for donations in the NYC area for our son Asher. Please let me know if you might be able to help. I am happy to answer any questions you might have, and we look forward to hearing from you.

Warmly,
Marissa
