Hi. Unfortunately not much is happening on this website as far as Maine goes. Do you know about Human Milk 4 Human Babies (HM4HB) and Eats on Feets pages on facebook? They have state specific chapter pages. You could also check in NH & MA. Also you could try to find a BFing support group, most hospitals offer them. This is a good way to network in your local BFing community to find mom's with extra milk. My first donor was refered to me through my lactation consultant and gave me enough milk to last for 5 months and then for another 4 months. Good luck!!!

Seeking milk within the next 3 months - Saco/OOB/Portland area

Post by jkdfidalgo on Wed Apr 25, 2012 8:23 pm

Hi Mamas! I am due this summer and am hoping to be able to start stocking up on donated milk for my baby girl. My milk supply with baby number one was severely compromised due to a breast surgery when I was younger, and milk donation was a lifesaver for us back then. He is now a happy healthy 2.5 year old and I hope we have such good luck the second time around. Thank you for considering milk donation! I can be emailed at jkdfidalgo AT gmail.
