first of all I am sooo grateful to all of my donors so far- I feel so blessed to be giving my adopted son the gift of health that comes from no where else but in breastmilk.

My dream has been to be a wife and a mother. Once I was married to my best friend- the best husband and father I know. I was ready to get pregnant. After 2 years of fertility treatments, 3 miscarriages in 12 months we decided it was time to adopt a newborn domestically. The second we decided that it was ease and grace from there- we were picked in 2 weeks and the birthmom was 6 months- so from the day we were picked we had him exactly 3 months later. I have never felt such joy and happiness as I do now. It took me a while to get over the fact that I wasn't going to be pregnant but I did not give up on the breast milk. I am a pediatric Occupational Therapist and I know how great BM is for these little ones. So I started hunting I found breastmilk banks but the milk was 3 dollars an ounce- I was planning on doing it no matter what- I started working 3 jobs to pay for the adoption/breastmilk but then I found milk share. We could never have afforded the breastmilk from the bank with the expenses from the fertility and adoption. Blake is now 1 month onld and exclusively on breastmilk!!! yippeee - we even had an amazing donor in PA where we adopted him from. Now that we are back in san diego we hope to be able to give him this gift through his 1st birthday and because of you amazing donor I think we will!!

thank you all for assisting me in this successful journey - my family thanks you from the bottom of our hearts!!

I think you might be one of the people who contacted me about getting milk in San Diego... I am donating regularly to a 3 week old right now but I am planning on increasing my supply over the next two weeks so I can feed my baby, the 3 week old and still donate.

Please email if your planning on coming down to East County again for another pick up. I am sure I can figure out a way to get you are least some of our milk.
