Wow! It's been about 14 months since I received my first donation through Milkshare for my soon-to-be-born son, Brady. It's hard to believe how the time flew! I have IGT and knew I would need to supplement from the start so I posted awhile before his birth and amazingly received colostrum and newborn milk to have on hand from the start!!! Thank you xrayeyes07! Thanks to 13 wonderful donors since then, some through Milkshare, some HM4HB, and some local, we are now at 13 months and STILL have breastmilk!! Very Happy I weaned Brady this last week and a wonderful repeat donor is still stockpiling milk for us so we get to have breast milk in his bottles even past a year which was originally my goal. Several donors gave massive amounts of milk...one at least 1,000 ounces, another a little over 2,500, and many more smaller one time donations!!! I just want to say a great big THANK YOU to all you milk mamas who pump those ounces day after day! Keep it up! You saved us a lot of grief with formula that Brady was unable to digest properly and gave him a wonderful start! We are forever indebted! I wish there was some way I could repay what you have given but words don't do it, money doesn't either...although I was more than happy to pay shipping, gas, bags, etc!! Smile I am humbled. I never will forget this experience and want to cheer on all you donors and recipients. Blessings to all and thank you Milkshare!
