Hello. On September 3rd, I delivered my second son at 28 weeks gestation. I have been pumping for the past month, and I have built up quite a supply. There is no way that my son will need everything I have stored in the freezer, and I would like to make donations to a family or families in need. I will continue to pump at least until my son comes home from the NICU - most likely it will be a lot longer than that. I expect to be able to donate milk on an ongoing basis for several months.

I am in good health, disease-free, and I do take a few medications. I take a prenatal vitamin with DHA, a B-complex supplement, an Omega-3 supplement, and zoloft (25 mg/day for anxiety). Both my OB and my psychiatrist have assured me that zoloft is safe for a nursing baby; it was first prescribed to me while I was nursing my first son almost 4 years ago. Please feel free to research zoloft and breast feeding before you accept a milk donation from me. I am happy to provide you with a letter from my OB declaring my health and ability to breast feed safely.
