The milk has already found a home. If I have extra in future, I will surely post in this forum!

For some reason, my PM is not going through- so here is what I wrote!

Hi Chandni,

I have a beautiful 9-month old named Alex and am unable to produce milk for him due to IGT. I had been nursing and then pumping every 2 hours until I got pregnant again (am 3 months now), and at that point my supply dropped to nothing. I have posted a request a couple of posts down from yours ("violetrinity"), with full details on our whole story/situation. We are very low right now; for some reason, we've only been able to get a couple of days' worth at a time lately. Do you still have the milk available? If so, we would love to have it! I always reimburse for bags, of course, and can come pick it up from you.

In any case, thank you so much for your generosity and take care

Heather Banks

P.S. You can email me at violetrinity7 at aol dot com

250oz milk available in Falls Church, VA

Post by Chandni on Tue Aug 23, 2011 5:47 am

Hi,

My name is Chandni. I am a healthy 26 year old mother with a 3 and a half month old healthy baby boy (born on 05/10/2011). I have approximately 250 oz of frozen milk which was pumped from the end of May through June, 2011. I started pumping to ensure that I have a back-up supply for my son once I start working but it turns out that I have plenty of milk and would love to donate it to another baby who needs it. I always sterlize all the pump parts before each use and store the milk in the appropriate breastmilk bags from Lasinoh. I follow a very healthy diet comprising mainly of fruits, vegetables, pulses, chicken and fish (no high-mercury fish). I also try to avoid processed food as much as I can. I do not smoke, drink or use drugs. I also do not use any medication. We live in Falls Church VA (near Tysons Corner). Please let me know if you are interested.
