Alabama Mom Looking for Family in Need Empty Alabama Mom Looking for Family in Need

I'm a mom of 3 and currently nursing a 9 week old. I am located in Cullman, just north of B'ham or just south of Huntsville. I'm looking for a family that is interested in long term donation. I nursed my last baby until just very recently and plan to self wean this one as well. I currently do not have a huge freezer stash because I was battling my oversupply issue with block feeding. I was losing the battle and was just plain tired of my breasts aching all the time from being too full. A friend of mine suggested milk donation and I decided this must be why I have such an issue..I am destined to give some milk to a precious baby in need. So, I since I wasn't pumping I don't have a huge stash, just a few bags here and there in case of emergency. I started actively pumping yesterday evening and already have 14 ounces using just my hand pump. I dont think it will take long to get a freezer full, haha. I am open to shipping as well as local.

I am healthy and drug free other than prenatals and probiotics. I eat a well rounded diet and exercise regularly. I am mostly gluten free and low dairy though cheese is my kryptonite, LOL. I can provide copies of my latest medical work ups since I just had my son. Feel free to ask any questions and I hope to make a connection with a family in need.

pick me pick me!! Wink Just reposting here since I saw your thread! If you are interested in long term donation we are the family for you!!! We live just south of Atlanta and have been looking for dairy free-ish milk for my almost 9 month old. I'm 18 weeks pregnant and my supply tanked so I'll be needing milk until December. This would be great if you would be willing to take us on long-term!! Of course we'll pay shipping and supply your bags! Hope to see you this weekend near Macon!

Of course, I picked you, Tiffany! I hope your baby girl does well with the milk your husband picked up yesterday. I already have 8 oz from today for her new stash!! We need to decide a number or time frame that you want me to ship on. Like every 100 ounces or every 2 weeks or something like that. Let me know.

yay! lol!! She did great and we are really appreciative!! I have no idea about what's a good time frame to settle on though. I guess it will depend on cost for shipping. Any ideas how much 100 ounces costs to ship from the next state over? And how often do you think 100 ounces will take to pump? talking to another donor that used to ship GA to FL about that so I'll get back with you - probably texting would be easier at this point I guess.
