Hi Susan, I actually just gave all the milk away, I have to figure out how to take down my post! I hope you find another donation. Best of luck, Shara

Shara,
I'll be coming to NY to visit family later in June. I have been using donor milk since the beginning here in Seattle as my supply is super low. I think my 2 1/2 month old son would be fine with your lipase high milk, but maybe best to try a bag when I am there before taking the whole batch.
Let me know what you think.
Thanks,
Susan

I have about 200oz of frozen breastmilk that I'd like to donate. FYI, my milk has an excess of lipase (feel free to look up on kellymom.com) which is not harmful at all but it will smell and taste different from milk without an excess of this enzyme. I would prefer to donate to someone whose baby otherwise wouldn't get any breastmilk at all or is urgently in need (e.g. adopted, mother with medical condition, preemie in NICU, etc.). The milk was pumped Jan-March 2011 when my son was 9-12 months old. I am in great health and so is he. Please let me know as soon as possible if you are interested.

Thanks,
Shara
