Looking for Breastmilk in SC/NC Empty Milk in abundance!

Post by PeacockGirl Thu Jul 14, 2011 7:34 am

I was so happy to see your post! I just joined as I have approximately 160 ounces that I would like to donate as I am running out of freezer room. The oldest bag is dated April 30. I am in a smoke-free home and do not drink caffeinated beverages. I may be able to donate more going forward but am hesitant to wipe out my entire freezer stash. Please let me know if you are interested.

Looking for Breastmilk in SC/NC Empty Looking for Breastmilk in SC/NC

Post by ldeboard Fri Jun 10, 2011 8:34 am

I am desperately looking for breast milk for my 4 month old daughter who has down syndrome and a congenital heart defect. We have been able to provide her with about 12oz of breast milk per day thanks to a generous local donor, but unfortunately she is no longer able to donate. My husband and I truly believe that our efforts to provide our daughter with breastmilk have contributed to her continued good health. I would have loved to nurse, but unfortunately my supply never came in. We are willing to pay for shipping if the donor is in the same region and will replace storage bags as well.

Thank you,
Laurie and Sahara
