Milk to Give Empty Re: milk to give

Hi there. My husband and I just adopted a baby girl and would love to feed her breastmilk. We live in Ypsilanti and you had mentioned in your original post that you were hoping for a local ongoing donation relationship. I'd be very grateful if you'd consider us if you are still interested in that.

Best,
Lori Stark

I can't offer a long term donation situation, but I would be glad to provide a one time donation (or more if my supply allows). I'll PM you my contact info along with additional information.

Milk to Give Empty Re: Milk to Give

Post by FosterMomSue Wed Apr 21, 2010 8:12 pm

Hi there. Did you find someone to take your milk yet? If not, I have a sister who sometimes travels to Ann Arbor who might be able to pick it up and keep it frozen for me. I live way up in the Thumb and don't ever get to Ann Arbor myself.

I'm fostering a 6-week-old baby boy who we hope to adopt. He was in the NICU his first 3 weeks of life having aspirated his meconium and experienced low oxygen at birth and an infection throughout his body. He's doing SO much better now that he's home with us, but he's on formula now as I have run out of donor milk and am not producing anything yet myself (working on relactating).

Thanks!
Sue

Milk to Give Empty Milk to Give

Post by hedyvrie Sat Apr 10, 2010 8:16 pm

My baby is 10 weeks old and I have several hundred ounces of milk to donate. I would prefer local pick-up because I am afraid I would mess up the shipping. I am in Ann Arbor. I am open to a one time donation, but would love to find a momma and baby for a continuous donation.
