So i had to share with ya'll... I have been donating breastmilk since i had my son in 2006 (( how was born premature )) my husband family are all doctors, nurse and one even works in the NICU with babys... And really supported me and helped to push me to donate. I thank them every day for it. I have 3 kidos and just had our newiest baby this last may. Since starting to donate with my son in 2006 I have donated to 17 families some one time donating some on going. And i remmber each and everyone of them!!! Friday had a family drive up 6 hours to do a pick up. There baby girl is adopted and has brain damge due to her birthmother taking drugs while being pregnant. I felt so thankful to have been able to donate and help and thanking the lord for this. I konw it might be a pain with getting blood work and everything but with this over supply it something i feel i can do and help out others. the family was just amazing,i couldn't be more thankful it was going to such a wonderful home.

just to fill ya'll in on how much i have an over supply i have to pump 3 times a day and at each pump section i get out over 10 oz plus... so that puts me at 30 oz a day extra and 210 oz a week... Keep in mind this is all after feeding my baby girl. I am sure at some point my supply is going to go down as it alreayd has...

I was pregnant with twins and lots her twin around 18-24 weeks they think. so tahts another reason why i have such an over supply. So i can't tell ya the what it means to me... and still trying to get over out loose. Donating hasn't just helped the babies i think... (( but my heart ))
