Hi Lori,

I have another 120+ ounces to donate if you are interested. Milk is dated between 9/17/2010 and 10/3/2010.

Let me know if you want it and we can set up a pick up time/date.

Thanks! I hope you and Lila are doing well!!

Yes, Alyson, we'd be very interested! Do you take any medications or have any illnesses that might impact the breastmilk? If not, we'd be very grateful for any extra milk. My email address is lstark@umich.edu.

Thanks so much,
Lori

Breastmilk needed for our adopted baby Empty Milk to donate

Post by athompson Wed Nov 10, 2010 3:44 pm

Hi Lori,

I have a 4 month old and I have around 210 oz (give or take) of frozen milk to donate if you want it. The milk is stored in gerber or medela breastmilk freezer storage bags and range in date from 7/29 to 9/9. I don't drink or smoke and eat a healthy diet. I haven't gone back to work yet and so we have a ton of breastmilk just taking up space in the freezer.

Let me know if you are interested or if you have any questions. We are located in the Ann Arbor area.

Hi there. We're still looking for more milk to feed our darling little adopted Lila. She's 5 1/2 months old and has thrived on the milk that wonderfully generous women have given us. Two of our three donors no longer have extra after feeding their little ones so we continue to look for more milk so that we can continue to give her more breastmilk than formula. We'd love to feed her breastmilk exclusively if that were possible!

We live in Ypsilanti and go to Ann Arbor and Detroit often, so we're willing travel a bit to pick up milk and are happy to reimburse for any supplies.

Thanks for thinking of us,
Lori
