Do you still have your milk?
We live in Manhattan and have a 4 1/2 month old adopted daughter.
We are looking for a donor who has milk and who MIGHT consider an ongoing relationship for milk.
Please let me know.
Thank you!!!
A.

Hi Nina!
I am an adoptive mother of 3 month old Audrey (asleep in her sling on me as I type!). She was adopted in Ontario and we just returned to NYC. We had an incredible group of "milk mamas" in Toronto who were pumping for us....I miss them immensely. We would love to continue the opportunity of feeding the "liquid gold" :-) breast milk. We live on the UWS in Manhattan. I would love to be able to have a quick chat with you to see if we could possibly help empty your freezer for you! LOL..
Let me know

Milk to donate (Manhattan) Empty Milk to donate (Manhattan)

The entire top shelf of my freezer is filled with milk (probably close to 300oz in total actually) and I just don't have any more room. I would love to share this milk with a child who could benefit from it. I feel very proud knowing that my 8.5-month old son has benefited from it immensely. We are so lucky that he is a very healthy and active child and has not been sick yet. I truly believe that breastfeeding has played a major part in his good health and development.

I would consider myself to be very healthy - I usually workout about 6-7 days/week, eat very thoughtfully and well (primarily a vegetarian diet; no red meat; no shellfish), don't drink alcohol (have a glass of wine maybe only about once per month), don't smoke and am not on any medications (except I do take pre-natal vitamins still).

I am new to this forum and the donor process but would be more than happy to answer any questions or meet anyone within a reasonable distance from Manhattan.

Many thanks!

Nina
