I will have to check my exact supply in my freezer, but I have about 70 oz (I think) in my deep freezer. It is from an older baby and is getting close to 1 year of being in the deep freeze, so I understand if you do not want it. I am weaning my son now (almost 21 months) and have it sitting right now.
PM me if you are interested in it.

Milk needed for newborn in October - Western MA but will pick up!

Post by andy.inkster on Sun Aug 29, 2010 1:56 pm

Hi, my name is Andy and I'm expecting my first child, a daughter, in October.

Nine years ago, I had a double mastectomy, and I am thus unable to breastfeed.

I have a local friend who pumped a bunch of milk for me, but it will really only keep my daughter fed for maybe a week after her birth, so I'm starting to collect milk now. My hope is to feed as much donor milk as possible once she is born.

I have a pretty flexible schedule, and can pick milk up anywhere in MA, CT, RI, or VT or NY state near the MA border starting later this week, once my new freezer arrives. I also regularly drive along I-90 through Albany to Toronto via Buffalo, and up 81 through Syracuse/Watertown to the Canadian border, so anywhere in New York may be a possibility in the future.

Please get in touch, e-mail is andy.inkster@gmail.com, reply here, or phone at 413-326-1573.

Thanks,
Andy (and little Ember)
