I can help

Post by nsayles on Mon Aug 09, 2010 5:10 pm

I nursed and pumped for my son ( 4 month) until we found out that he has a milk allergy.
I tried to officially donate the milk but I was disqualified because I lived for more than 5 years in Germany after 1980.
I am perfectly healthy and vaccinated. The last HIV test was done in September 2009 (result negative).
I am in a healthy relationship (married) for 4 years now and have 2 beautiful sons.

I am looking for someone in need for breastmilk because it would hurt my heart if I had to dump it.

I can help! My daughter is 15 months old and I have milk from the last month or two saved up in my freezer. We are in Cedar Rapids and don't mind traveling to meet half way. My email is kidcole11@hotmail.com.

Need milk for 1 more month, please help!

Post by Tdunois on Sat Aug 07, 2010 4:35 am

I have a son who 11 months old and I am looking for donation to get him through this last month. For some reason formula gives him eczema. This last month is critical for him to be on breast milk because that is the only time the eczema is completely gone and I need to make sure his system can handle regular milk or find what substitute will. Unfortunately things that don't agree with him seem to come out as eczema, so it makes it difficult to tell if something doesn't agree with him when he is on formula and has eczema all over already. Please let me know if you can help. I live in Rockford, IL and am willing to travel as far as Waterloo or Cedar Rapids (about 3-4 hours from where I live) and replace/reimburse for any supplies.

Thank you for any help you can give,

Tiffany
