Here is an excellent book recommended by my lactation consultant. It's a must read... excellent book. I found I knew a lot of the info in there... except the part about the lactogenic properties of food/herbs/drinks.

Mother Food by Hilary Jacobson

It's a book for breast feeding mothers. It talks about galactagogues... "foods & herbs that promote milk production and a mother's health". "With special sections on colic, allergy, depression, weightloss, and low milk supply."
