Hi!
I was wondering if you are still in need of donated breastmilk. I am exclusively pumping for my 3.5 month old daughter and have an over-supply. I've never done this before so not sure exactly what it entails or how we would work it out, but please let me know if you are interested. We live right outside of Raleigh.
Thanks!

Need milk in NC, willing to travel to pick up

Post by mcthom on Tue Jul 13, 2010 7:24 pm

We're down to a few weeks of milk left for my son, who turned 8mos today.

We're in Chapel Hill, NC. I don't make enough milk because of an insufficient gland condition and have a post-partum and auto-immune thyroid issues that affect my metabolism, which of course impacts my milk supply. I feed him with a supplementer (I fed my 5yo this way until he was 18mos). He was very briefly on formula when I couldn't find any milk for him and in that time he developed eczema, wheezing/coughing, and a lot of gastric intolerance from it. Fortunately, after being on breast milk again, it all resolved itself but I do absolutely have to keep him on it.

I am willing to drive anywhere to pick up milk that anyone wants to generously donate to us! Many, many thanks for considering your milk for my sweet boy!
