Milk Available in Elizabeth City

Post by Jodibug on Tue Jan 12, 2010 4:09 pm

Hi Mamas,

I have about 180 oz of breastmilk that I received from a donor here that I can no longer use. We recently discovered that my son has a dairy (and possibly egg) sensitivity. I would hate for this milk to go bad so I am hoping I can find someone to take it off my hands. It is from a milkshare donor mom who was a surrogate mother to a babe born in late September. I did not physically view the donor mom's bloodwork, but took her on her word that she was in good health, especially considering the fact that she had to be screened to be a surrogate. I say this because I know many of you would have wanted to see the bloodwork and I will not be able to provide you with that. The milk was pumped in November and stored in 6 oz increments in lansinoh bags. If you are interested and can pick up (I do not want to ship) please let me know. I posted this in the VA as well as NC forum as Elizabeth City is so near VA and I travel to Chesapeake quite often to visit family.
