Hi there -
I don't know if you've had responses yet, but my husband and I are adopting a newborn due July 23 (c-section) in Fairfax, VA, and I was hoping to possibly find some breastmilk in the area. We live in New Mexico. I don't know the DC area well, but I do think it's close?
Please let me know if it's still available, and we can talk more.
Thanks,
Nancy

Milk to Donate

Post by milkarlington on Wed Jun 09, 2010 6:58 am

Hi Ladies,
I posted this on the VA forum but thought I would post it here as well.
I have a 5 months old who is BFeeding well. I have a stash in the freezer that needs a home. I am a healthy mother, no alcohol, or drugs, or medications, or caffeine. I eat dairy, though, and am not a vegetarian but I shop local and organic.
All I ask for is that you pick up close to where I live - we live by the Courthouse metro station- and reimbursement for the cost of the supplies.
If you are interested send me a note. You can also email me at milkarlington@yahoo.com
Best to all,
~R
