Moving to Boise...Need Milk PLEASE Empty Coming to Boise soon

Post by adele Tue Aug 03, 2010 5:08 pm

Hello-

I just got on here and saw that you are looking for some milk for your baby. I am in the Burley area, but my husband is in the Army Reserves with a unit in Boise and drives up there every month. I have extra milk right now (about 150 oz) in my deep freeze that I am willing to donate. Let me know if you are interested.

Thanks

Adele

Just wanted to say welcome to Boise! Smile We've had a hard time finding milk up here, most has to be shipped in, but once in awhile I've found locals through Craigslist!

Moving to Boise...Need Milk PLEASE Empty Moving to Boise...Need Milk PLEASE

Hi,

My husband just accepted a job in Boise and we will be moving in about two months. We would love to find some milk donors before we arrive so we don't have to stress about where our little one is going to get milk from when we arrive. If you are willing to keep it until we get there we would love to meet you and pick it up, if not we have a friend with an empty freezer who has volunteered to help pick it up and store it. We will also be traveling out for a house hunting trip before then and would love to be able to have milk for our little one at that time too!!

Here's a little about us....

We are Russ and Tanna! We feel very blessed to have brought home our new adopted baby girl 7 weeks ago with about 14 hours notice !!

We have a biological son that is 5 and was breastfeed for 17 months. Our new baby comes with NO medical history and we know there was NO prenatal care. With so many unknowns we want her to have the best possible start and know that breast milk can help make this happen. We have had her on breast milk since we brought her home at two days old. Had to supplement a bit with some formula and it turned our happy little baby cranky. We have been fortunate enough to find more donors and have not had to supplement anymore. She is healthy, happy and getting chubby!!

We are interested in both one time donations and ongoing. We will cover any and all costs associated with your milk donations. Please contact us if you can help our little bundle of joy get off to a great healthy start. We would love to meet you and introduce you to our little one.

We would feel very blessed to receive some breast milk soon before we arrive in our new home.

Thank you for your time and energy in helping little ones thrive.

Russ and Tanna
