Still Seeking Milk For Our Little Man Empty Still Seeking Milk For Our Little Man

Post by Kelly Friedlander Mon May 31, 2010 10:32 pm

Our son is almost 14 months and still in need of donor milk. I have hypoplastic breast tissue (immature milk glands) and was never able to produce more than an ounce. Our son has a formula intolerance and gets a bleeding rash on just about every kind of formula (and is unable to take whole milk at this time also). We've tried it all and the only thing he doesn't react to AND heals his rash is breast milk. He can take one hyoallergenic formula but he still has a mild reaction to it. Its a tough spot to be in, but we are working through it and otherwise our son is a very happy, big, handsome little guy Smile

He is starting solids (yay!!) but its bound to be a slow process and he still needs milk.

We would love to have any extra milk anyone has in the Portland area. Very Happy
